Beyond the Familiar

What's Calling You Forward

A live breathwork and MAP workshop exploring the fears, beliefs and familiar patterns that can keep us from moving toward the things we want, even when a part of us knows we're ready for something different.

Wednesday, October 14 | Live Online | $37

What Keeps Us Holding On to What's Familiar?

Sometimes we know we want something different, but actually moving toward it is another story. We can have ideas, dreams, things we'd love to try or changes we've been thinking about for years, and still find ourselves returning to the same patterns.

Maybe it's fear of making the wrong decision, worrying about what other people will think, feeling guilty about putting ourselves first or something as simple as not knowing what will happen if we do things differently. And sometimes we don't even realize how much those feelings are influencing our choices.

I think most of us have experienced this in one way or another. We become comfortable with what's familiar, even when it no longer feels like where we want to be.

What would happen if we gave ourselves the space to explore some of those responses rather than continuing to work around them?

Exploring What's Beneath the Surface

During our time together, we'll be exploring what happens when we begin moving beyond the things we've become accustomed to, particularly the fears, beliefs and emotional responses that can show up when we consider doing something different.

We'll begin with a short guided breathwork practice to settle into our bodies and become more aware of what we're experiencing. From there, I'll introduce you to the MAP Method, which we'll use to explore the subconscious responses connected to your own experience of change.

You don't need to have a major life decision in front of you or know exactly what's holding you back. You might already have something specific in mind, or you might discover a familiar pattern you'd like to explore as we go.

The majority of our time will be spent working with MAP, with space afterward to reflect on your experience and what you notice.

Your two-hour experience includes

  • A short, gentle guided breathwork practice

  • An introduction to the MAP Method

  • Guided MAP work around fears and familiar emotional patterns

  • Time for personal reflection and optional sharing

Does Any of This Sound Familiar?

Maybe there's something you've wanted to do for a long time but keep finding reasons to put off. Maybe you're noticing that certain fears or expectations are influencing your decisions more than you'd like. Or perhaps you've reached a point in your life where you're beginning to question whether the things you've always done are still the things you want.

You don't need to be unhappy with your life to want something different, and you certainly don't need to have everything figured out before coming.

If you're curious about what might be influencing your choices and would like to explore that in a different way, you're welcome here.

Hi, I’m Chrystyna.

I'm the woman behind Embodied & Unbound. I'm also a mom of two little ones, which means I know firsthand how easy it is to get caught up in the everyday demands of life and forget to make space for ourselves.

I've spent years exploring the connection between our minds, bodies and the experiences that shape us. Along the way, I've studied and worked with different approaches, but what continues to fascinate me is how much of what we do, feel and believe happens without us even realizing it.

That's a big part of why I love working with MAP. I'm genuinely curious about what we discover when we start looking beneath the surface, and I love sharing that experience with others.

Ready to Explore Beyond the Familiar?

If you've been feeling drawn toward something different but keep finding yourself pulled back into familiar patterns, I'd love for you to join me. We'll spend up to two hours exploring what might be happening beneath the surface and what becomes possible when we begin relating to those familiar responses differently.
